MERANO CUP 2006 is going to approach the 9th edition. Already in its third year as a ISU competition for senior, junior and novice categories - male and female athelets.
Since three years, when the MERANO CUP was incorporated in the schedule of ISU figure skating competitions, the number of participants has achieved new dimensions and a high technical level as well.

Therefore the MERANO CUP offers to the athelets an ideal opportunity to verify their own capacity level after the preparation during the summer months and to explore technical changes before the national and international competitions start.
The MERANARENA - icerink is certainly one of the nicest and modernest structures in the Alpine region. The familiar atmosphere and the mediterranean climat of the Merano Spa has already attracted athelets from many European countries like Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Monaco, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Swizerland and United Kingdom, but also from Canada, China, Australia and the USA.

AirAlps offers flight connections from Milano Malpensa to Bolzano and Rome Fiumicino to Bolzano. The shuttle transfer from and to the airport (Bolzano, Munic, Verona) can be organized at payment if required. If you arrive to other destinations we can organize for you the transfer on payment by car or by bus if required. We should know timely the date of arrival and the number of persons.

This year we have a particular service for the Merano Cup, because we were able to engage a taxicompany, which picks you up from different airports (ex.: Innsbruck, Munich, Milan...) for a special price. Make use of this fantastic possibility to have not a troublesome journey with the train and heavy luggage. Just sit down in the taxi or in the bus and arrive calm and with a great mood here in Merano to keep your strength for a good competition. To organise this it is necessary that we are told as fast as possible your time and date of arrival, the number of persons and the number of luggage.
